Michael Plotkin is having a Bike Safety Class in the 3rd floor gym.
Dear Parents and Guardians:
It is that time of the year again. Students are riding their bikes to school and around Croton with the return of the warmer weather. In keeping with our safety plan ( Safe Routes to School), and our collaborative efforts with the Village of Croton, PVC Middle School will be hosting a bike-safety course that is open to all students.
This hour-long course will focus on the importance of following the rules of the road, and how to be safe while riding a bicycle. This class is being provided to us by The Croton Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee. The course will be run by a certified instructor from theLeague of American Bicyclists.
The bike safety class will take place on May 18 th , at PVC. I will be requesting that every student who rides a bike to school participate in the class. I also want to make this opportunity available to any parent who wants their child to participate. Please email me atMichael.plotkin@chufsd.org to enroll your child. I highly recommend that students who attended last year participate on May 18 th , as a refresher. You can never be too informed or too safe.
