Summer Programs - Book the Library and both Music Rooms as per Barbara

Leave set up time for Teachers and time after class in case needed.

Math Skills Camp  ( July 16th -20th or July 30th -August 4th) - This camp focuses on the foundational skills of math and implementation of these skills.  This camp is open to all students, but will mainly benefit those who need additional support with entry-level skills like multiplication facts, adding and subtracting numbers, etc.  Each session will run Monday through Friday from8:30 am until 10:30 am. 

Math Think Camp – ( July 16th -20th) - This camp has been the traditional summer math camp at PVC for many years. This camp helps students create a deeper level of thinking by offering examples of math where divergent thinking is accepted and preferred, and perseverance is instilled.  This camp is open to all students, but would particularly benefit those who have a good grasp of foundational skills and need to extend their knowledge of math further. This program will run Monday through Friday from 11:00 am until 1pm. 

Math Enrichment Camp – ( July 30th -August 4th) - This camp was is offered to students who have shown a high level of achievement in math.  This camp focuses on complex math topics, and stresses the theme of perseverance when overcoming obstacles. Students will be asked to accomplish tasks that might seem, at first, impossible but are encouraged and expected to arrive at a conclusion and explain their thinking.  This program will run Monday throughFriday from 11:00 am until 1pm.
